Thus, the Quran was revealed to ensure the well-being of people, whether in this world or the Hereafter. In addition, some of the efforts that can be made to cultivate the Quran in life through an understanding maqāṣid al-Qur’ān include reading, memorizing, understanding, and practicing its teachings.
All the objectives will focus on aqīdah (creed), laws, and tales of the Quran. Using the documentation research method, this article concludes that the maqāṣid al-Qur’ān is an order in submitting ourselves to the Oneness of Allah, which is the main belief. Furthermore, this study will evaluate the discussion of maqāṣid al-Qur’ān (the objectives of Quran) that has been formulated from the viewpoint of Islamic scholars, both classic and contemporary.

As leaders of this world, mankind needs to be cleansed, so they can stand strong to serve the community by putting religion, race and skin color aside. Scholars have concluded that maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah is one of the main reasons for the revelation of the Quran to actualize the welfare for all Muslims. The purpose of the Quran in life is as a basic concept in the preservation of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah (Objectives of Divine Law). Hence, the impact of drug abuse has many negative effects on society, and this study can be used to supplement the existing literature to build modules, conduct rehabilitation programs or parental counseling by using the Quranic approach.
From the Quran, the word drug is associated with the meaning of the word al-Khamr (alcohol/intoxicant). Using the qualitative method of the library, this article shows that several verses of the Quran discuss and guide the community in dealing with this issue. Thus, the Quran, as the primary reference in Islam, has a vital role in resolving the problem of Muslims related to drugs. In this regard, fatwā (a decision officially given by a Mufti or a Shariah State Committee) has already been issued to ban drug use. However, the dangers of drugs that are contagious in society today are given serious attention by Islam. In other words, drugs carry a very high risk that can be fatal. As a result of this effect, a person who uses drugs will become dependent on the drug and become addicted. The drug is a particular term for a substance harmful to a person's physical, spiritual (mental and emotional), and behavior when used.
